Were you watching the match between Sinner and Dimitrov when Dimitrov was forced to retire? I was watching Cam Williams of Tennis Talk narrate the match. I had been distressed that Sinner was losing, with an injury to his elbow of unknown seriousness. But Dimitrov's injury was shocking.
The stadium giving Dimitrov a standing ovation is moving. Sinner’s sportsmanship is too. He said (I think), when Dimitrov was going off-court for evaluation by the two doctors, “Gregor, be sure to tell them which racquet you were using”.
