Necklace

When I had asked AEM what she wanted for Christmas and she said a necklace, RNM had told me that it should not be too fragile or too expensive because she has already broken two necklaces.

Today I spoke with AEM on Zoom after SWM’s lesson. She was wearing the necklace, which has a sparkling pendant of a bunny. Immediately she proclaimed to me, “Yesterday I almost lost the necklace at Chuck E. Cheese! We were about to give up, but we found it at the last minute.”

(Apparently the heat in the restaurant made the chain of the necklace uncomfortable. She felt compelled to take off the necklace and it fell behind some kind of game.)
